Patrice Barber is President of Taylor Made Small Biz (2005) a subsidiary of her first company Taylor Made Solutions (1993). She and her team show entrepreneurs how to create your 6 figure income in 90 days or less by simplifying, organizing, and systematizing your business from the inside out.
For more than 15 years, Patrice has been turning people’s uncertainty and chaos about “how do I get it all done” into a clear roadmap that “makes it very do-able.” Her methods truly work 98% of her entrepreneur clients successfully remain in business, against the national average of just 32%.
She is a Productivity consultant who has authored training programs and taught Business and Program Management for entrepreneurs, consultants and corporate clients. With her B.S in Industrial Engineering, Patrice has become a sought after Productivity specialist for over 10 years to Fortune 500's. Her focus the last 5 years has been to offer her practical experience to other entrepreneurs in their new business ventures. Patrice has started 6 businesses of her own, 2 of them with revenue of over $1 million, She also has led the startup of a charter school and several non profit foundations. Patrice is the blogger behind AskPatrice Barber.com, publishes the monthly e- journal Just Results! and is an professional speaker. Patrice is certified in Cost Comparison Modeling ( CoCoMo) and received the Capabillity Maturity Model Achievement award for managing the design and delivery of the latest in management techniques required to attain CMM level 3.
She has worked with over 35 Fortune 500 and 100 companies between 1992 and 2001 including Jones Intercable, Echostar Corp. and GE Capital. Her firm partnered with software providers including Oracle, Computer Associates (CA) and Applied Business Technology to provide award winning expertise in Productivity in IT and Business Systems, Business Process Improvement and Program Management.
Patrice started Taylor Made Solutions in 1993 with $850 and steadily grew revenue to 7 figures. As a Productivity and Business Systems expert Patrice and her team provide consulting to implement multi-year and $0.5 million to 1.2 million enterprise Project and Program Management Offices. She has managed teams of up to 300 and specialized in financial systems including multi- million dollar Oracle Financial systems implementations.
After working with several clients in the financial industry, in 2001 she became co-founder & partner in two financial services businesses bringing production up to approximately $60 million, and revenues up to $1.2 million. Both businesses were later sold to the partners in 2003, at which time Patrice opened Mosaic Lending. She expanded services and added on Taylor Made Wealth Coaching (2005) and Taylor Made Small Biz focused on entrepreneurs.
In 2009 she experienced her first business failure - With financial losses, the business was closed. In true entrepreneurial spirit, many aspects were re-used. Patrice shifted back to her primary gifts of productivity and systems and focused on her penchant for working with entrepreneurs.
Taylor Made Small Biz uses a virtual business model with a monthly fixed fee and pre-built systems in addition to Full Service Systems Implementations. This gives micro business owners and entrepreneurs with 1-10 employees and revenues of $50k to $500k a cost effective way to grow their business without adding staff.
In giving back to the community, Patrice founded a charter school, has served on 1-2 Board of Director positions each year since 1992 as Board president , vice president, and treasurer for charter schools, fire districts, and non profit programs to support the disabled. She traditionally works with two non-profits each year to provide Business direction and Planning.
